You are warmly invited to celebrate a special moment at Prak-sis’ new location in Chicago, celebrating Ugi Bumm's first solo exhibition, The Blue. The Prak-sis team is thrilled to announce the grand opening of our space in the River North arts district at 730 N. Franklin Street on September 11, 2026, presented in conjunction with the River North Design District (RNDD) Fall Gallery Walk. A longtime friend of Prak-sis founder, Mi Yeon Kwon Katz, Ugi Bumm (b. [1962])—born and residing in Seoul, South Korea, and having practiced his art in Paris during the 1990s—opens this exciting new chapter as the first representative of our Artist Club. The Blue introduces Ugi Bumm’s captivating body of work, where his signature cobalt blue creates a world of beauty, calm, and imagination. Through expressive brushwork and rich tonal depth, each piece reveals its own story, inviting viewers to slow down, look closely, and discover the emotions and memories held within their own experience.
